Beliving I could play Vermintide, I had bought it but was surprised I couldn’t install it, so I canceled the order and asked to be paid back by Microsoft. I don‘t use Steam.

As a DRM hater, I usually buy my games on GOG,
but as a gamer I chose to use Windows, as Linux is not so game friendly.
I remember when for some years (23 years ago?) I had stopped buying pc games, when there was many DRMs everywhere, then the drm Steam finally won them all.
Steam is an invading PC console, so as a bad thing I prefer the small XBox one (I play Darktide with) on Windows.
Yup, Windows is already the invading OS of PCs, but this is no reason to add Steam.
I know here the game, multiplayer, uses the net connection, depending on a server like the Steam DRM would,
but I still don’t want to back Steam, wich is already too big adding on Windows.
But, with all other existing good games, I can sure live without Vermintide, which choses at now not to be played by me.
