With this sort of nurgle incursion I would imagine there would be a decent sized response, no marines most likely but I feel it must be more than just small strike teams and skirmishes. I know we get mild glimpses of the overall conflict, but I would find it really fascinating to learn more about the big picture situation of the war and maybe see some of it, or at least the aftermath of certain engagements.

It sounds silly but there are moments where we see small amounts of soldiers at their positions, I’d love to see just more of that and have more connection to the Moebian forces we’re clearly working with instead of just inquisition troops. Even though the train mission is divisive I like interacting with generals and such outside of the warband more focused on the war versus the corruption.

I’m also a sucker for military science fiction that talks about logistics and boring stuff.

we’re too low on the totem pole for any control of that, and it’s not entirely clear if grendyl’s goal here is actually to support the main war going on. the atoman command is only just beginning to learn of the cult of admonition while we know from the game the cult was there first and lured the mobian 6th into working under/with them,

We do know where the front line is and we never really get near it. It’s on the edges of the hive city, at ground level, where the 6th has been trying to secure a foothold into other sections of the hive because they’ve been pretty much cut off into the slice they’re currently in and can’t control a lot of the resources that way. That’s a big part of why that tank factory keeps coming up, the other parts of the hive need that working and the 6th keep trying to find a way to take advantage of it while the cult wants to just blow it up.

There are soundbytes of a Knight-Commander reporting after action reports to the Munitorium/Dukane. Unless it’s a unique planetary rank, that means there is at least one Imperial Knight squadron tearing things up down there and that there are things that require a Knight squadron to tear up.

Knight Commander are the tank Commander.

No link to Knight or Titans (whose ranking name are more feudal in nature, like Seneshal)
