Volley Fire: New valid target spawns will not be highlighted until a valid target is killed

Issue Description:

Volley Fire ability will not highlight valid new target spawns until a valid target is killed.

  1. Counterfire targets are also affected (New Scab and Dreg shooters that spawn while “Volley Fire” remains active will not be highlighted until a valid target is killed).
  2. Persists across multiple weapons, persistent with both hip-fire and ADS
  3. Killing an invalid target (one that isn’t supposed to be highlighted) will not validate proper targets
  4. Valid targets must be killed to highlight appropriate valid targets. Damaging a valid target will not highlight the non-highlighted valid targets

Steps to Reproduce:
*Demonstrated in Psykhanium, but this also occurs in missions as well.

  1. Enter Psykhanium, obtain good field of view for the multiple appropriate “Volley Fire” targets
  2. Enter Volleyfire and target enemies
  3. Eliminate a highlighted enemy and wait for respawn
  4. Verify enemy is not highlighted
  5. Eliminate a valid target
  6. Re-assess previous non-highlighted target

  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names

Upload darktide_launcher.log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
  5. Upload here

When asked, a developer let me know that the ability only highlights enemies on activation (and subsequently, re-activation), as opposed to constantly throughout its duration.
