I threw about 80 grenades during my test and did not produce a critical effect

I assume that this is due to the veteran having a 10% base crit chance while all other classes have a 5% base cc.
If all grenade abilities have a -5% cc modifier, the veteran class would have a remaining 5% cc on the grenades.
