Hi @aee616, please could you help us out by attempting to launch via the Xbox App, and then sharing your darktide_launcher.log here for us to investigate?
Press the Windows key + R
Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\MicrosoftStore\Darktide
Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
I have attempted to launch via the Xbox App. However, since I had trouble getting the Xbox app to update the game for me on patch day, I deleted and reinstalled the entire game, and have been experiencing the issue of being unable to launch the game since then.
This might contribute to the fact that there is no darktide_launcher.log in the directory you pointed me to.
Here is the error message I got from launching the game through the Xbox app:
NOTE: By deleting your AppData, your loadouts and custom keybindings will be reset. You may wish to make a back-up of the directory in the event deleting your AppData does not work to resolve the issue.
Press the Windows key + R
Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\MicrosoftStore
Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory
You will then need to use the ‘Verify and Repair’ option, which is accessible via the Xbox App and will ensure the installation is complete.
The update process never progresses beyond the checking dependencies phase. This is the reason that prompted me to delete and reinstall the entire game in the first place.
