UI improvements needed for new Mastery System (Itemization update)

  1. When sacrificing items, there’s no way to filter to only weapons of the selected family. i.e. the ones that give the best return that I’d want to give up.

  2. There’s also no way to separate all your items into melee and ranges weapons like we have in every other menu. Instead you have to scroll through everything. Not great for long time players with big inventories.

  3. When sacrificing items, you can’t see any details about the ones you are selecting, like what blessings or perks they have. I’ve had to go to my inventory and decide which ones I can afford to lose then remember their mark and power level then return to the sacrifice menu and find it again. Would be helpful to also have a “Mark for Sacrifice” button in the inventory similar to the new Favorite button.

  4. Seemingly got rid of the hotkeys to inspect or change the appearance of weapons in the inventory. Used to be I could press V to inspect an item but that no longer works.

  5. Sacrifice menu shows a list of the ranks of weapons with text like “Profane(2) [2])”. What do those numbers even mean??? I figure one is the total count but what’s the other one? Should be more clear.

FS’ UI people are some kind of hybrid Slaanesh/Tzeench cult, I’m sure of it.

Between the visual noise and the convoluted/ambiguous designs, there’s no way a devotee of the Emperor designed these.

Something else, that is pretty bad:
After selecting items and after clicking on the sacrifice button, you are shown a list of the weapons that you have selected for deletion.
On THAT list, you can not interact with the items.

If you want to change your mind and remove one of the items from the sacrifice list, you can not just click on it to remove it from the list.
You have to go back 1 menu and scroll through your inventory to find the selected item, so that you can unselect it.

You actually can.
But sometimes, it bugs out. Then you can not.
Which is pretty bad.

It shows the number of items that you have within the category as well as the number of items that you can sacrifice from the category.
Yes it is not quite intuitive.

If you have 14 transcendent items with 12 of them being marked as favorite, it will show
Transcendent(2) [14]
as in: 14 owned, 2 can be sacrificed.

I believe you used the scrollbar on the right.
This one makes things buggy. Try the mouse wheel from the start and go down of your 366 weapons. Here it will work.

Ah. You are right. It sometimes doesn’t show if you do that but it’s now showing for me when it wasn’t before.
