Uhh so Havoc's Blight goo can trigger Until Death? Bug?

Was it always like that? My corruption wasn’t that high.

This is a total hunch but was there another zealot?
There used to be an old bug that made until death proc for all zealots when it procced for one, maybe they brought it back. If it’s really the goop then I have no idea why it’d do that

Been awhile since i played zealot on goop but from what I remember taking corruption damage at max corruption triggers it. Sounds like youre experiencing something entirely different tho, could be simply taking corruption from goop triggers until death if youre at 1 or 2 life.

Everything can trigger until death

If you’re at 1 hp, even if you DON’T take hp damage but just toughness damage (like a single shot from a gunner), it will get triggered

So yeah goo basically doing the same thing makes sense

Yeah, I couldn’t remember my HP, but this is what I was wondering myself. Whatever it wasn’t one of situation I ended with 1 HP, regained UD and triggered the passive with some green goo / green whiff alone. This doesn’t sound like an intended mechanic.

Smoke bombs from tox bombers trigger it as well

Gas will trigger it if you are at 100% corruption level, and obviously grenade impact itself afaik.

I’m not so sure if this is intentional to trigger UD, when you are super low HP, but not much corruption. I need to test this in the lab with creature spawner, whatever there is a bug report worthy issue here.

Im also being annoying trying to get until death to extend its damage immunity to include corruption damage

Its literally a form of damage, why does damage immunity not stop it

Plus it has the potential to change a down to a death, like a net+poxwalker horde, or any net in havoc, making it actively worse sometimes and now with its position you dont get a choice

We probably have a bug then, because for me the gas activated and I had 0% corruption.

having until death as mandatory talent to pick is just bad design cause it wasnt even like this in vt2, people liked to play without until death for challenge or just for the sake of sacrificing a good talent to just to pick something else, the new position in the tree for it is bad imo, at this point would been better if it was an archetype’s passive
