Why would I watch someone else play the game when I can play it myself?

To get the loot? To help out streamers that you like? You haven’t preordered the game because of various valid reasons and want to watch some gameplay?
Just because you don’t watch twitch streams of this game doesn’t mean that no one watches twitch streams of this game.

You DON’T have to watch anything but if you want the skins you will need to
i know it may be hard, but i watch soem streamers (on my 2nd monitor) when playing that have over 15k people watching them

I have the video’s playing when I am away.
Open stream, change video quality to minimum for bandwidth savings, mute, go do smth else, check periodically if it’s still going. May not be the most “honest” way to go about it, but I am usually already playing while I do so. One Darktide at a time is sufficient, no need for two.

the drops do not work for me, i get nothing, so yes they are pointless
