Turn all Carapace head armor into Flak

Do the same to all Ogryns, reduce their spawn rates and we’re golden.

This would just make the weapons that currently carve through carapace even stronger, further widening the gap in balance. It’s like saying everything should be unarmored - then anything with huge cleave or the ability to ignore hitmass becomes the best thing in the game by a wide, wide margin. Not to mention what it does to every weapon with brutal momentum, making them essentially the best weapons in the game, and then brutal momentum becomes the must have blessing instead of uncanny strike. I don’t think this would work to bring the lower end weapons up at all. It would make the game considerably easier, but also make the weapons far far more unbalanced than they already are.

I feel You only read the title, because I mentioned to nerf these weapons that you’re refeering to

Hello. I just replied to another post before this. I will agree that how weak spot or DOTS are handled is an issue in certain areas however I think the biggest problem is the lack of anti armor weaponry

As I pointed out in the other post, classes like Veteran have more passive nodes for ranged than melee but are left in an impossible situation because of the weapons they get. Take a Bolter and you only have enough ammo for armored enemies. Same problem with Plasma Gun. Take a Las Gun which has a high ammo count and now you are forced to ignore armored enemies. I have moved away from Veteran because of Arbites and because of these issues

With Arbites I don’t have to worry about if my weapon is Anti Armor.. I just bonk it in to submission, all while hiding behind a shield that eats nearly every damage thrown my way

Eh I am getting in to a tangent but the point is that FS needs to stop adding new classes and actually add meaningful things to the existing classes, while also working on the enemies. I have tried on and off for years to ask for Hot Shot Las Weaponry so the Veteran has an Anti Armor weapon with ammo count and works off its passives (example)
