The TH power activation bug needs to be hotfixed ASAP

Thunder hammer just got buffed to a state where it could be very enjoyable finally after 2 years of waiting, but the experience is completely ruined because anytime i want to activate the special attack literally half of the times it disables by itself because i was hit by a poxwalker or anything else. It feels absolutely horrible and needs to be fixed ASAP. Please.

During a maelstrom mission today with specialist monstrosities i was literally missing like 60% of all of my powered attacks because it just kept deactivating by itself.

its everything with a powered up state…I’ve been enjoying the Mk2 Tigrus now that it finally has something to boost its way through carapace without FoTF. And you will think that the chainsaw is on because its revving and it doesn’t catch whatever elite/specialist you hit. I shudder to imagine how the power sword would be doing.

Hard agree. All my favorite weapons have special activations, so this bug is pretty noticeable and painful. I think you should be posting this in the bugs section too.

Its already been reported so i dont think i need to, and providing with detailed description and proof is a pain in the a$$

Are you running Thy Wrath Be Swift as a zealot? I ask since doing an activated heavy attack without TWBS can lead to situations where you can be staggered during the heavy attack by a simple enemy swing, causing the Thunder Hammer to turn off. It’s noticeable and similar to Vet with an activated power sword. You can have Power Cycler IV equipped on the PS, but taking an enemy hit after the first powered swing causes the sword to turn off, which can be rectified by reactivating the sword again.

Hard agree (not just on Thunderhammer, this is any power/chain weapon activation atm), getting bonked should not for some reason cause you to fumble to the point where you power off the weapon.

Yes, but I have experienced this phenomena even when running TWBS during the charge up animation.

Confirmed this is the case. Thy Wrath Be Swift does not prevent this from happening (based on my use with a Crusher powered light attack that became a normal attack when a mob bonked me)-- this is also with the “Uninterruptable” procc’d from max stack Punishment…

Activating the special attack three times in a row will apparently turn it off as can be seen here.

The issue is that activating again does not reset the timer, so by the time you activate it for the third time, the timer is expired.
