The Psyker's Talent Mettle does not trigger correctly

After testing, the Psyker’s staff Purgatus and Trauma’s right-click attacks were unable to trigger this talent.
When testing an attack on a single enemy, the talent will not be triggered, even if the Perfect Timing talent of the lower branch has been triggered multiple times.
Both of these talents rely on critical hits, and it’s clear that mettle doesn’t work here anymore.
It only seems to work on some single attacks, such as left-click attacks, while the right click of both staffs cannot trigger it.

This can be tested by attacking an enemy in the psykhanium.

Purgatus can proc it, but against a single target it has to be (one of?) the first hits of the whole channel. With multiple targets there can be more procs if you switch targets, ie. sweep. In a normal gameplay situation it’s going to proc all the time but it’s clearly not behaving as intended.

I tested the multi-target,it needs to hit exactly at the time of the critical hit, and all subsequent critical hits will not be counted if the target is not switched, and similarly, when the target is switched, it needs to be hit exactly at the time of the first hit at the time of the critical hit, and against thousands of enemies in gameplay, there will indeed be multiple triggers, but the chance is much much lower than it should be.
