Terrible performance compared to the beta

Issue Description:
The game already drops to 49 fps at the character selection screen. When switch to ship 40fps. If I aim at the wall it increases to 90 fps. During missions It jump from 120, but it’s more like a steady 34 with dips to 15-11 fps.

Attempted Solutions:
Verify game files 3 times. Clean reinstallation of the game. Clean reinstallation of the graphics driver in the stable version.

Ah! Another one! We exist!

Adding to this. Everyone else I know either has improved or same performance across a variety of hardware configurations. I’ve seen a significant drop in performance relative to both the pre-order beta and closed beta as well. Notably, I have an Intel Arc A770m

Issue Description:
Stable 60fps in meatgrinder with infrequent drops to ~45fps. 30-60fps in Mourningstar. In mission, anywhere between 15-60fps, a bit of a stuttery mess; doesn’t appear dependent on mob volume.

Attempted Solutions:
Verify game files 2x. Clean reinstallation of the game. Clean reinstallation of the graphics driver 31.0.101.3802 (rel. 11/14/2022). Adjustment of graphics settings and worker threads. Use of FSR.

During beta, was able to run essentially max settings getting consistently 45-60fps with rare dips to 30fps. At launch, there’s frequent frame timing issues, input latency, and stuttering; with 15-40fps being common.

Settings were ensured to be identical from beta to launch.

Attached log from pre-order beta where everything was fine, a log from post launch, and then a log after adjustments made.

I’ve reduced the ragdolls / decals to ~80% max, with little benefit, along with adjusting all settings from low to max. FSR makes everything look like garbage with little fps gain. Nothing else seems to make a difference - worker threads doesn’t appear to significantly affect anything between 12 or 17(default). The most significant difference was turning off ambient occlusion, which fixed latency / frame times and increase FPS ~15%

Idk all the performance stats, but the game feels WAY choppier and laggy than the Beta did. Not sure why.

Same problem here.
The game is running considerably worse on performance than in BETA. In BETA I was running a high settings with 45 fps avarage, now its 33 fps avarage and is realy running from 20 - 45 fps.

Update here, as I tried a couple other fixes to no avail.
I did an uninstall, deleting the %appdata% folder, and reinstall; no significant improvement.
I tried forcing the RT off changes in config, no significant improvement.

Just wanted to report back!

Same, I have tried most fixes but none have restored my performance to that of the beta, which really sucks cause I was enjoying it right up until that last patch they did before launch.

With you on this, felt like the beta was much more stable. I’m barely scratching 40fps on medium settings with DLSS “Performance” on. Same settings I used during the beta. And Heresy hordes, oh my god it’s like playing a slideshow.

Specs: EVGA RTX 2070 Super, R 7 2700. Not the best, but should be enough to at least get 60fps right?

I also tried removing appdata/roaming/fatshark and modifying user_config to force RT off. I manually adjusted the number of threads to 9 out of 13. The game still stutters, it is more playable if I would have settled for 31 fps. I know it’s not the computer’s fault because there’s no difference between high settings and low settings, and even turning on scaling in the performance mod doesn’t change anything.

yeah got the same issue here, but just cant play anymore thta’s so frustrating, for me the game is just unplayable, i dont have the best pc but in pre order beta in low graphic settings i could run the game at 40-60 fps but here the game is constantly at 5 - 20 fps.
I love this game, let me play !!! xD

Well, whatever they did, I think it’s fixed with Hotfix 1.0.13.

Back to normal. Maximum settings all around, 17 worker threads, getting a pretty flat 30-60 with minimal latency.

It was in the patch notes, the config file was somehow not deleted and edited in the previous fixes and the raytracing was turned to ON all the time, thats the reason. They have fixed it now. The performance is back to what it was before in beta, runs smooth now :).
