I don’t care what you think of Tanner or what he said in the past. What matters is what he’s saying here and now, because it needs to be heard.

Watch this video, if you haven’t already, and then come back to this post because what I say here revolves around you knowing what the video says.

FatShark is not going to listen to us unless we show what we think about the game in numbers on Steam. YouTube videos, Posts on the Forums, rants on Reddit/Discord, books of grudges are all useless unless they don’t result in the change of DarkTide’s numbers on Steam. You ever wonder why the Chinese playerbase have always got what they wanted, like FS never nerfing the DS? Because the review bomb the game if FS wants to do it. Because their word results in the game’s numbers changing on Steam, FS caves in to their demands.

And what do we do when we want the game to be better? We just make posts on FatShark Forums, all the while we know that the current CM couldn’t care less about what we have to say.

So let me repeat what the video has said: Leave a review on Steam, here and now. Whether positive or negative, it doesn’t matter. If you have already made a review some time ago, do it again. FatShark will listen to the reviews because, unlike anything we’ve been doing all this time, they actually care about them. These reviews are actually the only thing that allows us to have a genuine voice and if there’s enough of these reviews left on the game, it will affect the game’s numbers and FS will very much take notice.

And do it properly, please, just like the video said. Sit down and seriously think, how does it feel to play DarkTide right now? Is it good, is it bad? What makes it feel so good/bad? Not going into dps numbers or any bs like that, just pure unfiltered feelings about the game. Let it all pour out into your review, and shape it into a constructive statement. Say what would you like to see changed, be added to the game to make your experience feel better. After all, what really matter to FS in the end is if you’re having fun with DarkTide or not. If you don’t have fun, then you don’t want to play and won’t recommend the game to others, and vice versa.

It doesn’t matter what you think of the Hive Scum class. What’s good, what’s bad, doesn’t matter. As long as you will make it known in a Steam review for the class, it will matter because it actually makes a difference. The same goes for the Arbites class and the game itself. And if you and other people do it together, then it will have an even more staggering difference for the game’s numbers.

Let your voice finally be heard. Leave a review.

You can do anything you please. Just know if you want the game to be better, your inaction is what leads to the opposite outcome because FS care to listen to what you have to say.

FS listens all the time. That’s how we just got an extra operative slot today.

He’s extremely toxic and fake person, while being an extremely subpar player whose takes has the nuance of a bulldozer and originality of a piece of white bread.

I still remember how me and a couple other people argued with him in the comments in his early video about void staff’s viability, and he dismissed all the comments despite being clearly wrong and just deleted every comment that disagrees with him.

He did this video for attention, most people will spam the game page with negative reviews because class is not mega OP and will not change it back, even if devs make positive changes.

Anyone who woships him is a fool.

To make these assumptions about what he says in the video, when you haven’t even watched said video, is to be willfully ignorant.

Ganger actually feels super fun since the hotfix today. It ironed out a lot of kinks.

I just need FS to go on a proper map making binge now. We sorely need new full sized maps. 3 in a new biome. Also another 1 in glorianna, 1 in hourglass and 1 in the new trenches warzone biome.

Nothing else before that or I will scream.

That is a disingenuous statement that is not at all in line with the tone and wording he uses in his video ; if you had watched it with an open mind instead of following a knee jerk reaction “he’s a bad toxic player”, you would have known.

Besides, for everything he says, even at his most constructive (though he’s certainly not always), there’s always a influx of extremely toxic Ad Hominem attacks on him like he’s stolen everyone’s lunch money and beaten up their grandma.

To be fair, he deserves it because initially his early videos were just rants about how people who don’t think X are stupid and need to kill themselves. He 100% could have not attempted catching flies with vinegar and generally being vulgar and angry otherwise, and the fact that he’s still on a pity potty over the pushback from this is hilarious. ‘People were mean to me after I was mean!’

I played with the guy once by “accident”.
Didn’t even knew he was a VTuber at the time.

He rushed ahead, ignored a monster & left the rest of the team doing the boss fight,
while doing whatever up front.
I called him out for it and he acted like this is totally normal behavior.
And then he did it again.
As in TWICE in a mission.

Fun thing is:
I watched one of his videos lately and he is still doing the same thing.

Guy is a really, really bad team player,
which makes him a overall bad player in my book.
Don’t care if he could solo Havoc 40+.
If you are that bad as a team mate, I don’t want you advice.
Period.

I put this video on at 3x speed, and it is tops 10% about how we should “vote with our review” and 90% about people being mean online. It has so little to do with the class itself.

And is he wrong? The class is what turned people toxic. If you listened to what he says and not do it haphazardly, you would understand. If you don’t want to watch the video now, that’s fine. Just watch it later when you feel you’re ready.
