Yeah we seem to be long past the point of “preventing” infinite ammo… but it is an team aura… Even vet has the free ammo on Laz crit, essentially giving them infinite ammo with Helbore or standard laz without the Aura.

But whatabout the Veteran itself? Because let’s be real, vet’s main profile is ranged damage, and you need ammo for that.
Yah I’m not sure… maybe some new talent adjecent to the laz infinite ammo for bullet based weapons… not sure how that would look maybe… like Scavenger from VT2 based on headshots?

I think the only rational would be they don’t want team infinite ammo vs class infinite ammo.
..still i prefer the melee oriented game play with some range, ammo as a resource to be managed than pew pew spamming or grenades wizz booming all match -.-
Right now the aura can proc off any elite or specialist kill regardless of whether the person doing the killing is in coherency or not. If someone gets an elite or specialist kill and isn’t in coherency, you get the cooldown but no ammo lol.
I don’t like that you either take survivalist or you already have a veteran running survivalist, then you choose one of the other auras. The solution I would be in favor of would just be turning survivalist into a normal passive node and replacing it with some generic aura, maybe reload speed or something. This would make it not affect the team as a whole, bringing player power down a little bit (in terms of ammo economy) and allowing fatshark to adjust it without overarching balance consequences.
