Trinkets in Vermintide were often displayed on the model of the characters, hanging from belts, or backpacks. Why isn’t this the case with curios in Darktide?
Also some of the current trinket locations on weapons are kinda messed up, but at least they’re there. If you could do a pass on those and move them to places where they are visible when we inspect our weapons that’d be great, thank you!
What the hell, I never seen a trinket on the model in Vermintide.
To be honest, visible Curios will be pretty cool, like little badge with all 3 Curios there (I do not know the size of curios)
And I really do not know what should be done with Trinkets, replacing them in visible place will just create more clutter on the screen and I am pretty sure you can see it when inspecting the weapon, and, well, it’s fine as is, just alright
trinkets in vermintide 1 were visible, but they served WILDLY different purposes and being able to spot at a glance what someone’s setup was built for helped to organize sharing resources without talking about it.
darktide’s curios do not meaningfully affect playstyle the way trinkets did and those sorts of abilities are no in the skill section.
i would have LIKED VT1’s method over this pseduo-RPG bullcraps, but they moved away from it because people love number goes up and i’m outvoted.
