It has happened numerous times, and only ever when I hand the potion of Endless Bombs to someone. I am stuck in a potion carrying animation but without anything in my hands, and the only remedy is for me to either die or fall off of a ledge. The latter remedy is something I found out from a couple of other people who have encountered the same problem.

I really hope this gets fixed soon. Another bandaid way to fix it is using a boon, weapon or upgrade shrine.
Getting knocked down didnāt work for me.
It affects bots too.

This has been a bug since the Dec. 10, 2021 Warrior Priest update (Patch 4.5) and has been reported multiple times. Iāve linked below the reports I found posted here in the Fatshark forums. There are probably even more reports in the Vermintide subreddit and in the Steam forums. Itās still a thing since the last patch, Patch 4.5.1 didnāt fix this bug.
Giving endless bombs to a teammate will 100% of the time leave you unable to swap anything or do anything until you pick up a new potion or a weapon (which youāre forced to swap to)

After giving potion of Endless Bombs to a teammate, character gets stuck in a potion giving pose. I canāt switch weapons, use Sister of Thorns ult, however I can use Footknight ult. Getting downed or grabbed doesnāt fix it. Moving to another mission part fixes it.
When I passed potion to teammate, this happen.
I in that position for over 5 minutes (we had to finish the level and load into next for my weapons to return)

When giving potions while CW gameplay, sometimes it stucks at giving potion animation beeing unable to use weapon, defend, change weapons, using ult or anything else than walking.

Just tried to exchange potion with my bot by dodging away so they canāt immediately give me back the potion I donāt want. It glitches out and I do not ever load my weapons back. Just run around with hands out as if holding a potion that Iām handing away.
Side note please make it so that if there is an open potion slot on a team of bots that when handing a potion to one of them that same bot does not immediately hand it back. Force another bot to hand their potion over.
This is highly annoying ā¦
In Chaos Wastes if equipped with a talent that procs equipped potion effect on ult use and the potion is the potion of endless bombs WPoS gains all the potion effects (unable to use anything but bombs, slowed movement) and he trows just one bomb and visually returns back to his primary weapon although can not use it and from the 3rd person view he actually holds nothing and unable to do any action as in when using weapon shrine and walk with empty hands for a few seconds
I played a cw and a bug repetatly accured.
everytime i hand another person a potion i got stuck in the holding the potion animation without a potion in hand

No weirdness in the game up until this point, I was not the host. I picked up the dwarf and gave him a pot, then I couldnt put my hands back down.
I tried switching weapons, using my ult, attacking, blocking. getting tornadoed, jumping off a ledge and being picked back up. when I looked at teamates the prompt to give potions came up but nothing happened when I tried.
At 1:40 in the video, the dwarf (who was fine up until this point) gave me the poā¦

hands harden when you hand Potion of Endless Bombs to others in Chaos Waste.
canāt do anything but move or jump until the stage is END or dead.
When you are in chaos wastes and you try to give a teammate a endless bomb potion you and your teammate both become glitched and cannot attack, switch weapons, ult, block, etc. your hands look like you are holding an invisible potion and the only solution we have found is to pick up another red potion or a barrel to counter the bug.
Please fix this mess.
Into a state of ānon weaponryā. Youāre stuck into the animation that gives the pot.
