Strike Team Privacy Settings

A setting which we can assign our party as invite only would be nice, rather than public/private

Recently am playing with a new friend, doing low runs to show him around, as party is at 2/4 and private, the whole friendlist is jumping in , some feeling its disrespectful to leave while other notice and leave, every game its the same, disturbing the experience.

Idea of Matchmaking

You should probably move this to gameplay feedback but this would be great.

not likely to happen unless they institute a private mode that turns off rewards (which they won’t do because they know it ends up totally unpopulated). that said this is easily resolved by making a strike team before starting matchmaking so your group is all slotted into a mission at the same time.

Not entirely certain, but can you not get the same result by making the party private and simply setting your steam/xbox account on invisible?

Afaik your friends won‘t be able to join you (unless you invite them) if you do that.

May not work for friends in Darktide (but not Xbox/steam), if you know what I mean!

Similar issue here I think, where you’re subjected to pubs by this route. Private strike team with 2 players will just be themselves and bots the whole time.

True. I had forgotten that list for “darktide friends” was even a thing.

I stayed 30 minutes yesterday thinking where to post here or gameplay
