STOP! Do not repeat L4D's fundamental flaw!

Short version:
Left 4 Dead:
-Survivors easy and therefore boring.
-Infected is hard and team mates bicker for not perfectly spawning at the right place and time.

Vermintide Versus:
-Ubersreik easy and therefore boring.
-Skaven is hard and frustrating, team mates bicker for not perfectly spawning at the right place and time.

Solution:
SWITCH the damn design. Make Ubersreik hard. Make Skaven fun and not requiring E-sports strats.

EVERYONE HAS ALREADY MASTERED PLAYING AS THE UBERSREIK TEAM. STOP HAND HOLDING SO THAT JOURNALISTS CAN PLAY FOR YOUR DEMOS. YOUR CUSTOMERS AREN’T PEOPLE WHO WATCH YOUTUBER REVIEWS. WE KNOW HOW TO PLAY UBERSREIK TEAM, MAKE THEM HARD NOT BRAINDEAD AND MAKE SKAVEN FUN.

Prove me wrong.
Run two concurrent modes, one where Skaven are stronger. See which one’s player base dries up first. You’ll see. They did this in L4D2 with mutators and it was wildly popular but it was too late to replace the original Versus mode. It’s not too late for you.

A lot of great points here.

Overall, the missions are too short for rats to gain any momentum, they also lack a boomer equivalent (I.E. A rat that can trigger hordes)

-Let us play as the boss (rat Ogre/Stormfiend)
-Have Chaos Specials spawn by the Director
-Remove THP/Redesign Talents specifically for Versus (give us ratty talents!)
-Give the Rat team an ultimate or give specials abilities (we want the VS to be unique, not just I was a rat for 3 seconds and got 1 shot)
-Buff Ratling gunner shooting duration(more ammo)
-Allow rats to melee
-Allow Rats to order other trash mobs (get creative/ or think sienna skeleton orders) A rat wall would be hilarious.
