When the stim supply is deployed, it consumes the player stim, but does not give a stack to chemical dependency, which gains a stack every time a stim is used.
This interaction needs to be fixed so the build works.
It’s probably to prevent Stimpack → Kalma CD Stim + Stim Dependency → Stimpack abuse though it is quite annoying to micromanage that. If you track your stim use you can pop it right before using Stimpack so it’s not wasted but good luck remembering all that when the screen is full of enemies
I came to report the same issue, as it’s not clear at this moment how things work.
It seems that the Stim Supply consumes your stim in order to give its effect to you and your team, In this case, it’s to be expected that you would get a stack of Dependency; This option would make sense and lead to good synergy in the build.
If the Stim Supply will apply your stim effect to the entire team even if your personal stim is on cooldown, then you are just forcing players to always consume the stim before using the skill, which is annoying. This option makes the build feel annoying
Can confirm made an account to report this as it feels horrid to play even without the keystone, makes me wonder why i would even bother with the ability when i could have infinite ammo(kinda?)
