Stat potential changing during empowerment is a total scam

Issue Type (Required):

Crafting

Issue Description (Required):

I’ve spent over 3M dockets at Brunt’s Armory rolling for plasma gun, finally getting a stat distribution I wanted:
80 in damage, stopping power & ammo, 70 charge rate and 70 thermal resist.

I took it to Hadron and empowered it a couple times, and now it’s showing 69% charge rate and 72% thermal resist, and it shows in the menu that it’s going to drop down to 68% charge rate if I continue to empower it.

I bought it for that 3x80+2x70 spread distribution (couldn’t take a screenshot because Nvidia screen capture broke JUST ON TIME, unfortunately), but I still deserve to get the stat potential distribution that I was originally promised (80 dmg, 80 stopping power, 80 ammo, 70 charge rate & 70 thermal resist) back.

I’ve spent way too much resource into rolling plasma, and just the one time I think I finally got a good one the game just decided “yea nope lol”. It’s been frustrating trying to find a good one, and this is just icing on the cake. I’m really not happy about this.

I forgot to take a screenshot when it was still 4x80+2x70, but I can show it being displayed as 69 + 72 right now, and in hadron’s menu it shows 68+72, indicating a further drop from what it was originally supposed to be.

I do not understand how a “rounding issue” can cause my near-perfectly optimized weapon to drop 2 stat points away (not even in the good direction) and I want it restored to its original state.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Take a weapon that’s not a max power
  2. Go to hadron and empower
  3. Notice stat potential fluctuating
  4. Get frustrated
