Squad coherency requirement seems inconsistent on higher difficulties

Issue Description:
Since the last patch, it feels like the “squad is in coherency” requirement has become inconsistent, and is easily blocked by pillars and walls on higher (Heresy and Damnation) difficulties.
We tested it out a little, and it seems to vary, in table top visual terms, to be one inch sometimes, and other times you have to be nearly skin touching/base to base, or like, one millimeter away.
Note that this could simply be the UI “catching up” or something, but still. On lower difficulties, it seems you can be pretty far away from your teammates and still get it.
Even in the tabletop game it’s not THAT strict, despite 9th edition requiring two points of coherency now.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Start a match.
  2. Walk away from players.
  3. Note squad coherency fade.
  4. Move back into coherency, get in a firefight.
  5. Test again.
  6. Note differences. Bonus points if there is a pillar or box or something between you and a teammate.

As an addendum to this post, we had the elevator bug out for a good three seconds despite everyone being in the elevator, because it all thought we weren’t near each other. Could be the distance gauge is having problems.

Additionally, this could be related to: Isolated players getting suppressed while not being engaged or shot at when other players get suppressed - #2 by kqgee as this is also a measuring coherency and distance problem in a similar vein.
