You’ve got no idea how much I want to eat my words and say my sentiment was wrong, dude… I’d be THRILLED to find out that’s the case. No joke.
I’d be unironically happy with just something that doesn’t suck because my expectations are so low I see dinosaur bones if I look up.

Them finally giving any amount of free currency is somewhat shocking. If that becomes a regular thing for events that will be a pleasant surprise.
Can’t tell if this is just to make a bigger splash with the upcoming announcement or if this is in response to the “make event rewards better” complaint.
Either way the prospect is interesting as long as it isn’t a one off thing.
edit - Side note, really hoping this sh*tpost comes true.

I hate this event reward because it took tactical purchasing to 0 my Aquillas total. Now they’re giving me an ugly number you can’t spend evenly again.

In-game event is PRETTY good since Auric now is Havoc Lite - Density, bosses, and no BS modifiers. Skulls are pickable items and can also spawn instead of ammo (can create scarcity). You get 1000-ish skulls per mission. Not too bad I like it

The one set I want to see come back is the Cadian one, so, cosmetics wise, this isn’t interesting to me. The skull numbers look crazy high unless theres something I’m not getting, so we’ll see how it works.

I can’t believe I am back here again, doing the same thing as I did with the Grim Protocols in December of 2024. Fatshark, are you allergic to creativity and respect towards your playerbase that provides you with income so that you can keep developing your games?
Once again, the newest addition of PAID cosmetics are not only a joke, but a borderline offense against your customers. Once again, you are using already existing 3D model templates and just adding 10% new textures or changing the colours around a bit. It is utterly disgusting and my stomach actually hurts a bit when thinking about it because it is so blatant and disrespectful.
Here are my findings, please.. defend yourselves.
The newly released Cut-throat vs the already existing PAID FOR Blessed Orestes Mk XXI:
The newly released Sable-Sun vs the two already existing FREE skins; Crucis Nightshade and Fire Wastes.
The newly released Dire-Shade vs the already existing PAID FOR Night-Eagle.
The newly released Backstop and Drub vs the already existing PAID FOR Scavvy Chic.
Why are you doing this? This is so low and it genuinely pisses me off, because you have one of the biggest arsenals of inspiration you can get to introduce unique and interesting designs for years to come. Yet, you do this. Recycle, recycle, recycle. And on top of that, you are doing so with recycled cosmetics you have the audacity to release behind a paywall, once again.
If anyone here on the forum doesn’t see my point here, I will let you know that I am a stubborn individual and I provide in depth analyses of my case if anything is contested.
Shame on you, Fatshark. Shame on you.

- A lot of people says it’s too early to say something, and more should be shown later, that I hope too, but not sure, because some of those people are rude.

Great warmup before the Skulls!
Aquilas as rewards are so much appreciated. Even tiny amounts do incentivize to buy more but can also stack up through future events. Keep up this pace, good work
