How consistently the issue occurs for you – ~90% of lobbies
Since I’ve joined the WoM beta, approximately 90% of my lobbies fail to return to the keep after victory or defeat in a mission. Instead of returning to the lobby, the game briefly flashes the keep background art then sits at the loading screen with the V2 icon in the lower right corner without ever successfully loading. I don’t see the end game stat screen when this happens; however, if I do somehow get to view the stats, the keep loads successfully.
I’ve allowed a prolonged period (about 5 minutes) to see if I could successfully return to the keep without success. This occurs when I’m hosting lobbies.
Thanks for the quick response, Julia! I just verified my cache and it said everything was successful. I also had this same issue occur again afterward this evening.
I thought this might be isolated to lobbies that I host, but this occurs also when I’m not hosting. I’ve verified the game cache a few separate times as well, with successful verification each time.
By way of another update – I just had this occur again; however, when all the heroes in my lobby left the game, the soft lock ended and I loaded back into my own lobby successfully. Thanks again for all the assistance from the land of Sweden!
Just posting to keep this thread alive. I still persist with this same thing, and it’s at the point where I have to force close the game after every mission. It’s making this really frustrating to play when I have to try to find a whole new lobby after every mission, win or lose.
