So are we going to talk about how busted revolver is or are we hoping nobody notices?

It doesn’t matter how it’s actually implemented, the result is the same. There is functionally no difference between magnetism implemented via the hitscan object or the enemy object. The backend code will look different of course.

The reload is batched into one animation. If you reload from empty you only get the 30% bevause you didnt start with it. Cancelling and restarting obviously loses you the 30 bonus.

To get full value out of the 20% you have to reload at 4/5 shots spent.

I used to run this talent a lot but realized it doesnt actually come into play very often in the situations you need it most. Its overall a waste considering the connector point you go through to get it.

If it was a one off, or if our tree was less bloated it would be maybe worth it but opportunity cost says nah. Not for revolver anyways.

EDIT: If it was a one off + no tree bloat then yes worth a pick up.

could be due to a larger projectile size. plas rifle has a bit of a chonky projectile too, but it needs it.

Also, I really don’t mind if they purposefully made it easier to get headshots with the revolver, considering its horrid ammo reserve. The irony is that the headhunter autoguns should feel more like the revolver does atm.

If they design the revolver to fit within a particular crit build on the vet, like how you can with a tactical axe on a zealot, then I can see the revolver filling a fun niche build.
