Slam attacks do 0 damage when standing too close to an enemy

Issue Summary:
Using a slam attack with any weapon that has one (mace and shield, sword and shield, hammer and shield, axe and shield, ceremonial dagger, flame sword, blunderbuss, and grudgeraker) while standing too close to an enemy will treat the enemy as if they are in the outer radius of the attack, dealing no damage, imparting less stagger, and, in the case of the ceremonial dagger, not lighting enemies on fire.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Use a weapon with a slam attack.
  2. Use the slam attack while atanding as close as possible to any enemy or training dummy.

Reproduction Rate (Choose One):
Constant (100%)

Additional Information:
This is important because one of the primary reasons to use a slam attack is to stagger elites, and this bug makes slam attacks not stagger them when they should, which can result in high damage hits that should not have occurred.

Nice find! This may explain why shield slams have been so frustratingly unreliable…

Just one of the many acknowledged bugs that has been around since the Big Balance Beta. Been wondering what the team has been working on cause it’s basically been radio silence since Back to Ubersreik DLC (which ignored this bug among others.)
