Skitarii breaks the nicknaming conventions and I don't like it

I realize this post is going to be a total nothingburger but it’s been bugging me nonstop since they dropped and I wanna rant about it.

Every class has a unique nickname for every other class. This was true all the way through Hive Scum. You’ll always hear HS call Veterans “Killers”, cops always call Zealots “Firebrands”, etc. And then Skitarii came out and ruined everything.

Skitarii will always refer to every other class equally when it comes to random combat barks, so they interchangably use whatever was assigned most to their personality. Degradable, Bio-Matter, Unblessed One, whatever. This is breaking the established convention for dialogue and means that Skitarii don’t discriminate between each class. Additionally, Savant Psykers will refer to Skitarii as Tech-Warriors, which is the Zealot term, instead of Rust-Brains, which is the Psyker term.

Why is it like this??? It was fine with everyone else and then you activated my OCD!! UNFORGIVABLE

You’re either down with circuits steel and cogs or you’re unblessed. Simple As. However I will say Scum’s nicknames for the classes are the best in the game…you really can’t beat ‘lump’ as a pet name for an ogryn.

With each new class, they need to think of more and more nicknames for each class, to each class. With Skitarii, they would’ve needed 13 new nicknames. Now imagine if they add an eighth class, they would need additional 15 new nicknames to keep this up. It’s better they stop here before the nicknames become cringe because they ran out of good ones. Ogryns calling arbitrators “plateface” already sounds stupid, even for ogryn standards.

Maybe the meatbags all look the same to them?

Edit: I get where you’re coming from though. If they only do this for skitty it can be roleplay. If they do this for the next class too it is laziness.
