Yeah it’s been a little while since I’ve used it so much; iirc it’s mainly regarding those specific talent interactions when combined with the issue of how a number of explosives and their specific range falloff in the game properly interact (or don’t) with cleave and hitmass, that sort of thing.
E.g. when the hyperdensity builds up and one Pal starts burst firing into the mass, you blink. there’s a red mist and all of a sudden anything somehow still living within a 3 km radius is bleeding and on fire and falls over shortly thereafter, with a killfeed the length of the Silmarillion to match etc.
I get it DS users. I’ve mained knife on my veteran since about the beginning (knife + lasgun = OG Imperial Guard) well before I heard anyone complain about it so that I can say I’ve probably mastered both marks. I can also say that I’ve played the hell out of almost every weapon except dueling sword funnily enough, so I can accept that knife may need to be nerfed if it helps cull the greater issue of armor spam that keeps most other weapons from being viable at higher end difficulty.
It really sucks to be basically told, “it’s not you, it’s the OP weapon your using”, but nothing is done in a vacuum, and your skills will transfer over keeping the weapon viable enough to keep being used.
Tiny diffirence, same lvl of op on nearly same build.
It’s fresh games and i played before exactly the same builds with DS 4. knife and blue tac axe, you wouldn’t believe which weapon consistenly got waay better results.
Ok fair nitpick. There is one ability with such overwhelming base uptime you can consider not taking it. I’m sure we agree it doesn’t really change the value proposition of those talents though yeah? They’re far from “useless”.
I would also trade cdr node for something else since it only makes a diff on shout and infiltrate builds, but your forced to take it on your path to 20% dmg against ogryns.
Not a single psyker or ds change again. Is all of china playing macro psyker or something? Is that why they won’t take action? Even Trollhammer and Coru Staff got nerfed eventually. Sister of the Thorn got a full rework after only 9 months. Psyker has been breaking the game for over 2 years.
From my personal perspective, in fact, most Asian players are not unable to accept weapons like the weakened ds. After all, many people are also joking about why an iron needle can have a stronger armor-piercing effect than a power hammer. The real problem is that, considering the production capacity of Fat Shark, they often over-adjust some weapons and have long ignored the weak weapons ,for example, after they overly weakened the automatic pistol, this weapon has no application scenarios at all until today .And weapons like infantry laser guns and Katachan devil knives have long been neglected.
They’ve nerfed Wukong a couple times over the past few years so I can’t imagine it did very much to them. Each time resulted in thousands of review bombs but they just kept doing it.
