Shattering Impact not working with GG special attack

On the Grenadier Gauntlet, the Shattering Impact blessing does not apply when hitting an enemy with the weapon special.
It works fine with regular shots though.

The weapon special includes a projectile being shot at an enemy from point blank range (as long as the mag is not empty).
But the blessing does not apply for this projectile.
