Stealth ragers would be kinda cool, but I don’t think scab ragers are the right fit for that. Or dreg ragers, for that matter.
No, the stealth rager should be a new Ogryn rager that’s sloppily painted purple and dual wields chain axes, and just pops out of nowhere like that one dude from Dexter and tears one unlucky SOB to shreds.
They could add new enemies that prioritize people who’re dealing huge amounts of damage in a short time tho (or maybe rework sniper and plasma gunners to do exactly that)
Why not? Scab are the Moebian 6th, they’re supposed to be the more professional arm of the traitor factions. If Vet on the loyalist side has Infiltrate, a unit on the traitor side also should.
Scab ragers aren’t exactly the brightest ones, they literally just covered themselves in full armour and go forward to swing around at you, not calculated attacks, even their battle cry demonstrates how insane they are
However a new enemy that goes invisible and then decloaks behind you to try to backstab you… that one could work
I actually love the idea of a stealth Ogryn from a game design perspective. Gives you the perfect excuse to have them shout like an idiot a second before they decloak so you actually have some telegraph to get out of dodge before you get one shot.
Two reasons: 1) Cuz the scab ragers are frontline harassers that already have a role they serve fairly well, and B) Cuz surprise stealth ogryn is funnier
Bother. How much stamina and dodges do you have? I find the monstrosities, captains and twins trivial to fight alone. Multiple ragers makes me sweat more. If you don’t have endless stagger tools they shred through your stamina and dodges (mulitple ragers). And with the overlapping swings you are bound to get clipped and chipped. To be honest I wish multiple perfect blocks would stagger the damn thing. In a bad case where you used all you dodges and it burned through your stamina you are dead without stagger options. Unless there is some tech I’m missing if you have a build with no good stagger options.
Ragers are generally one of my highest prioritized targets
What about dreg ragers? I know they have no stamina unlike berserkers in VT2, but that’s not enough!
I say increase their numbers to horde size (10+ per group isn’t enough), double their attack speed, increase attack reach by at least 5 meters and make them ignore dodge state. Also they should be able to teleport in the front of your face like DH, just in case you had a chance to actually kite them.
FYI unless they are stagger immune inferno staff psyker destroys them all the same.
Also invisibility shouldn’t be in the game by default for the players either, and now you want an invisible enemy? This idea bleeds from several wounds.
Lighter elites are nothing but fuel for Perilous Combustion / Soulblaze. The Perilious Combustion changes are fully unhinged, and it just feels like a middle finger to anyone who cares about psyker power cap.
