Currently the Saviour Award is given to the player with the most “saves”.
What even are “saves”? Apparently they happen when you “get disablers off of people without killing the disabler or stagger 1 (not 2) an enemy that is about to backstab another player” (Source is the infamous Wallcroft: Discord).
You wonder why you didn’t see the Saviour Award during endscreen celebrations yet? Because these “saves” almost never happen in this game mode.
For example, I have uploaded the console logs of two gaming sessions.
During the combined 29 matches, there were a total of zero saves by any of the players. ZERO SAVES in 29 matches.
I argue that the Saviour award should be changed and given for most revives. Those happen all the time and are really valuable.
Suspected fun fact : Saves are the same thing as what you need to trigger the trait “heroic intervention”. Notorious for its usefulness being hard to see even under a microscope.
