Sorry, could you explain a bit more? What’s happening to your mouse when you do this, exactly?

It doesn’t lock to the screen but still works like normal but since it doesn’t lock it can click offscreen

I had this happen as well, but it was mid-level so I was frantically trying to survive and didn’t take stock of the situation. I just restarted my game quickly and rejoined the level in progress.

What happens is the mouse is no longer locked to Darktide. As you use your mouse to look around in game, it can slide to another monitor, then select another program when you click. This takes focus away Darktide, and makes all of your keyboard/mouse inputs go to the selected program.
