It’s the last odd one out. It’s a real pain going through a library of curios to find a specific one for your build, when they’re always in some arbitrary random order.
On a related note, would also be nice if we at least had an option to sort sublists like perks & blessings too. Always having them in say, an alphabetic order for example would make it a lot easier to compare items of a similar type. Thanks for reading!
Yup, weapons and blessings both. And I still don’t even know why? Like ok, there could be a good reason or even just that they had no choice, like license issues or whatever. But then why not say so?
All it does is just serve to confuse everyone, made worse by the game’s inherently complex mechanics which made all guides obsolete. Not to mention what it’s done to communication especially between vets of the game and newbies.
Meanwhile one can’t help but wonder: If there was no real reason for it, imagine all that could’ve been done if all that work and effort was put into something actually useful instead? Without a reason, it was literally nothing but net negative. Work for its own sake, offering no value outside of that confusion and annoyance itself.
the idea that “whateverforgeplanet-pattern” was just some random bits cobbled together(from the scrapped weapon customization) didn’t make sense anyway
´they’re identical yet have different values (lol) and look differently while having the same funtion, that is 17% toughness curio can be an hourglass, a book, a scripture, a bone, whatever. why didn’t they just make it clear from the look of a curio what base function is has? like mechanicus icon = always 17% toughness for example. ok, i don’t care much about this and there’s a mod that lets you rename your stuff, but just as an idea.
