Relic blade question

Seems there’s also a bug or intended deactivation of the sword when you get knocked back by anything. I would also say aiming the strikedowns properly midsh*tstorm is a slight downside lol

You can mitigate that by taking Swift Certainty for some reason.

That’s a bug? I thought that was intended design. I thought it was smart too. Missed dodged on burster/boss = punish.

Now that you bring it up, thats another weakness of the relic sword, albeit a minor one.

I swear to god if Darktide has it as Knockback = Range Stagger.

Probably why the shock mauls have “ranged stagger” as part of it’s blessings.

It’s a vastly inferior psyker greatword, buried under a crapton of clunkyness and lack of crit blessings.

Psyker one gets shred AND riposte, while killing anything quicker without having the activate.

It’s pretty nice tbh. It’s not as strong as psyker 2h force sword, which you can almost break a million damage with on auric hi shock, but it’s close enough in terms of utility and good damage.

I’ve only used it in a couple of auric hi shocks but so far the damage is great, the moveset is nice and activating it lets your shred any mixed horde, while also having decent enough damage against carapace. And the cooldown is very quick. It suffers from slightly low speed but you can easily offset that bit fotf.

It has shallower peaks compared to 2h force swords but feels more consistent in general, given the activation mechanic.

People yapping about it being too weak simply want another dueling situation (terrible).
