Please, Fatshark, this time don’t break so many of your paying customers’ will to live xD. This isn’t “skill issues,” nor is it team dynamics etc. Leave people at their havoc rank, revamp the whole system, remove it altogether and just have a single h40 difficulty level- I dunno, but for sod’s sake, on tuesday, don’t reset the ranks and treat as business as usual!
Here’s a few reasons why…

”Error code <insert number we shouldn’t care about cos we’re not paid tech support>”
”Crash report the 90th crash!”
”Memory leak”
”Keystroke invalidation while crusher army waterfalls out of thin air”
”Audio deafening”
”Broken DH rituals (reported by sponsered streamers too)”
”WTF I fell through the map again!”
”Bug buggy mc pile of bugs stacking in matches until eventual absolute freeze of system, prompting hard reset.”
All these and more can get one demoted.
Now that even the sponsered streamers have been going nuts about the instability since xmas, take note! For these reasons and more, please fatshark do NOT reset our havoc ranks or at least and remove the demotion system this update!
I like how you treat the “no reset this week” as the maximalist demand, but stomping out a feature out of a game mode is in the category of leasts
I also think that the end game content should involve some stakes and Havoc in its curent implementation succeeds at it, with stakes not only being fairly mild but also entirely self-contained within the mode itself
This is nothing to do with “adapting". You missed the point here and are repeating an already refunked point. Your post can only be in response to somebody requesting no reset due to skill issues and this was specifically outlined. You botted the wrong post.
There are no titles/frames/insignias/aquilas/cosmetics as “seasonal” rewards
Modifiers rotate slowly every few weeks but Havoc resets are not introducing anything new… like next week we aren’t going to have some new modifiers or maps…
I really wouldn’t mind climbing rank 30->40 IF the game gave some proper rewards for it, was more stable, and deranking was gone.
Sometimes the climb is brutal. A couple months ago I pushed 32->38 then deranked to 29 LOL… it was so demoralizing.
Darktide is genuinely not even stable enough to warrant Havoc demotions lol, disconnects/crashes affect way too many players & games…
My game time is 3000 hours, and apart from Havoc mode, auric difficulty can no longer meet my needs So I don’t care if Havoc has been reset to 30, I play it every day, and Havoc40 is not something I need to care about
