i don’t think this event was ever ment to be a competition. But if you want to name a winner, it’s the heretics. As no matter what we did, the heretics raise in numbers.

I think it’s more:
A.) you save the food but a considerable amount has been tainted and mutates people. Turning them into pox walkers and spreading plague.
B.) You destroy it, people starve and die. And a good portion enlist with the heretics to get food or feel angry at the imperium for forsaking them like this.
Either way we lose, it’s just what do we think is better? Do we want the types of enemies that can enlist, or more infected ones?

Last time I looked at the numbers, the amount o rations recovered greatly outnumbered the amount of destroyed rations by like 8-6k.
So to answer your question, team recovery won.
I just wanted to save the planet, but WH40K don’t let me be a hero lol.
Lets see what happens next.
Yeah I think that’s just the genre really. Play rogue trader as an iconoclast. You can get far enough in heroism, or what it would look like in that universe.
