Random midgame crash

The crashing is REALLY random, it has happened mostly midgame and once when joining a lobby and once at the home base. It always crashes to desktop.

EDIT: so I did some looking and it shows this code in the error text file: 0xc0000005
dont know what it means tho

EDIT: I just did a file validate test and one file was corrupted, I will test if that fixed the issue tomorrow

You have a beefy Ryzen CPU, and Vermintide 2 for some unbeknown reason doesn’t operate very well with a high ‘Worker Thread’ count. So, head into the launcher, to the ‘Settings’ menu and try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count down to 6. See if that helps. :slight_smile:

I have found out the course, it was a ram address error.

I lowered my ram speed from 3933mhz to 3766mhz and it fixed it.

Can you put this at a possible fix on the forums? So others that have can find it?
