Question about flamers

Hi guys, with this weapon I am a bit confused…

I don’t know if 76% burn is absolutely mandatory or if 15 stacks is high enough ?

Is the stat « damage » as useless as it seems ?

Are perks really as useless as they seems ? (+25% damage on 15/16 damage is ridiculous…)

Long story short, I don’t know if my quest for the best flamer / perks / blessing to make it yellow is a waste of time as the difference between a good roll and bad is small, or if there is something I don’t catch…

Thoughts ?

I would say mobility and damage are less important then burn, ammo and cloud size. Cloud might be most important stat actually. As for blessings, anything that boost reload speed is good.

Damage stat not only about direct damage numbers, but also burning intencity

Was lucky to get or god roll or somethig near it. 8% vs horde mobs is meh, but second perk was even worse.


Maxed Showstopper blessing sounds interesting - 20% Elite enemy Explodes on kill, but i think i’ve seen it only once and it was 5%.

Here are my thoughts. You land at 75% burning. At 76% you gain 1 stack (from 15 to 16) is it overkill ? Or the damage difference is noticeable ?

Things probaby will die before you can stack even 15. There is no need to minmaxing like that. Everything that not carapaced dies in a fews seconds. For carapace mobs there is bugged(?) zealot ability

So what ? Once you get quite good stats, you aim for +% reload speed and anything else as perks and any blessings as it as no impact ?

Dégât = damage
Brûlure = burn
Munitions = ammo
Rayon d’effet = cloud radius
+xxx% implacable = unyielding
Vitesse de rechargement = reload speed
Attiser les flammes = fan the flames

So, you are telling me, a weapon like this

is, thanks to stats and reload speed, better than weapons like these :

I just rolled in the shop this one

I upgraded it to green : +8.5% reload speed (what i wanted)
I upgraded it to blue : Fan the flames (what i wanted)

no matter what i get when going purple, i will reroll it to +25% unyielding, and i don’t mind the last blessing :slight_smile:
Looks like the end of the grind for this weapon !! (after the 1200 plasteel i need to grind for, obviously !)

Showstopper doesn’t seem to be all that great in practice or in meatgrinder. Not only is the explosive damage really lackluster, the radius of the explosion is god awful. Overpressure and blaze away are leagues better.

Le dernier semble bien aussi et pression excessive est pas mal.

Tu ne penses pas que le dernier que j’ai posté serait mieux ? J’ai franchement des doutes avec cette arme… et le farm de plasteel étant ce qu’il est, j’aimerais être à peu près sur…

Pour moi le dernier est très bien
Par contre le +15% sprint efficiency, ça c’est à virer…
Enfin sauf si c’est voulu
