Put solo in the game Devs. You’re gonna get more sales like do you not want more money?

So far we’re at 36 and counting.

yes I have written 9, because the thread started 9 month ago

But you’re correct… we wait since the beginning… so even more than 36

Confirmation that Fatshark has been “Groundhog Day”-ing Summer Holidays for almost 4 years?

and voilà…
Worst moment I hate…

No diamantine… I will HAVE to play online :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:  :sob:

You spent all your bucks!

yes that s why I collect everything

I craft MANY weapons

Actually, I want to test assault shotgun… so I need diamantine to create two variants for my zealot.

until when?

Talking of accommodating solo. This is welcoming for solo players. What an interesting game.

Started out as unreal tournament mod.

Angels Fall First on Steam

It can be PvP online but…

It goes further

You can play PvE with friends and fight against Bot AI team together or say you could be on opposite team from your friend and add Bot AIs, making it essentially PvPvE on large battle scale.

Spaceships, Ground Vehicles and Infantry.

Unreal is such a good engine. and I am happy fatshark next game will be on unreal, if they optimize it well, you can add more content to it at a faster pace because of all the tools unreal has. so its much easier to work with for the team.

Are you for real dude? First of all DT is super cheap. Cosmetics are optional (plus those that are for free in the game are good enough). DLCs are also optional and they do not exclue players that don’t have them.

Maybe they should charge more so they have the money to implement basic features they promised would be in-game?

Also DT is a $40 game with a $60 ‘get this cool stuff’ edition. Sure it’s not AAA prices but it’s a perfectly normal game price point.

9.99€ at lowest price (for Euro) or 3.66€ for Ukraine…

I think its quite reasonable. Part of why I haven’t bought a switch 2 despite my gravatar is the price of the individual games. $100 CAD before tax for games that are like 10-15 hours long? ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Some single player games are over priced.

£50-60 for one off campaign. Maybe play it once a year or at most 5-6 times. i.e. Adventure games. Wait few months, it will be half and later 1/3 of price, which is more fair then buy steam key from reseller rather than steam direct.

To be honest buying steam direct for 2hr refund benefit vs wait and buying cheaper steam keys over like 15 years. The latter works out better.

Games with good online gameplay can last years and more replayable. I bought Darktide around 3-4 months after release for £15. That’s value. I probably cost FS money for covering my overhead on their server usage over the years. Battlefield Bad Company 2. That’s a game I would of paid £100 for even as so much replayable fun.

I feel it’s online games that should be £50 and single player games with 20hr campaign should be less.

But either way I don’t buy day 1. Just one month or two then buy cheap steam key. Can save hundreds over years.

From below suggests fair fraction of players bought Darktide as steam key from resellers.

It’s cheaper than DLCs itself

I have it on good authority that Star Citizen will release as a complete and functional game 3 months before we get DarkTide solo mode.

So we’re looking at February 2247 at the earliest.

Only for inhabitants of the Great and Everlasting Pan-Pacific Empire though. The untamed wilds got a different rollout schedule. Regional differences you know?

Star Citizen is the biggest joke in all of gaming and the people who support it are the very ones to blame as to why the gaming industry is in the state its in. People convince themselves “well it’s my money I can do what I want with it” and buy absolutely awful products instead of having any semblance of respect for themselves. Imagine shelling out 48k for a DIGITAL MICROTRANSACTION. “Hoarding” was a show, now we need “Idiots buying microtransactions”

I try to buy on Steam when I feel that the price is fair.

I buy from K$#%^in when I feel that the devs are trying to rob me.
Darktide was in the first category. I have bought it two times (lol). One on Gamepass (something I will never do again because I am now on Linux), and the second on Steam.
When the game was released, there was no crossover playing.

Star Citizen, they can wait for me. These prices are ridiculous, and moreover, the game is beautiful but the ship have no physic. You can crash on a planet and your ship has no damage.
What a joke…

I prefer 100 times elite dangerous… I wait some grease for my VKB gunfighter 4 and will play it again.

it’s also why devs increasingly start implementing loathsome anti-customer practices like fomo rotations. once business people notice that the consumer is a pig who will eat whatever slop they put out, the slope starts getting slippery
