I think my “favorite” one was the “what makes solo important to you” reply. Like they need a reason to justify adding it, and explicitly saying it would be in the game and every other game in the genre having it isn’t reason enough.

Just checking in again after a few years break.
Been asking for this since the beta of this game. Solo mode with bots works with mods just fine. Even a mod called Tertium 5 that worked at one point. Don’t know if its working. Framework is there regardless.
There are no excuses for not paying the modders that already did your job and implementing it into the game.
This is a great summary, only leaving out the “yes and yes” comment which I think is particularly damning.
It shows that it was advertised (some might say “promised”) as a feature under active development since beta, with – and this is key – no satisfactory statement provided that it was completely shelved.
“It’s not a priority” is business speak for “no active or planned development”, and the amount of condescension in the pivot to “it’s a co-op game first and foremost” alone is enough motivation for me to join the badger parade clamouring for a satisfactory update (or conclusion) to the solo mode debacle.
On one hand, it’s within their right to ‘prioritise’ as they see fit. On the other hand, they could at any point just be open about it and I think that would be enough to settle the score. My read is that the legal team or some high muck muck has advised to stfu, which again motivates me to harangue at my leisure 
“yet we gonna roid your characters up to the primaris gills, where you actively start to get into each others ways and make you hate their guts”
right now this “coop” has a lot of diarrhea if you think about it, perfectly doable solo but when youre out of 
you need someone passing it through the door aka nets, for dogs are out of the picture for arbi&skit already.

It was not meant as a complete summary of the situation, but more an overview of what communication (or rather lack thereof) we have gotten from Fatshark themselves since the feature was “promised/advertised”
Yeah, it’s not hard:
“Due to the state of the game after launch, we’ve decided to put solo mode development on hold so we can focus on fixing these major issues” is a completely reasonable statement. But they didn’t say that, they said it was still in development alongside those fixes.
Now we’re here, approaching 4 years since the “yes, and yes” statement with Fatshark deliberately ignoring any mentions of Solo Mode. It’s not a good look and it’s continuing to cement my decision that I will never purchase another Fatshark game and will actively dissuade anyone I know from purchasing a Fatshark game.
@FatsharkJulia @FatsharkQuickpaw any updates on Solo Mode or are we getting ignored again?
It grinds my gears. Just say ‘look, we had to make decisions, and corporate doesn’t want to shell out for good enough servers for the player-base we have let alone allowing actual solo play’.
Or, heck, go ‘the bots are useless, we can’t make them work properly, and so we would rather drop solo mode than give you something terrible’.
Just admit to the reality.
You expect them to interact with people they want money from?
Not just right now money, but future money too?
And on top of that, you want them to tell at least a half-truth, which would almost certainly mean someone, somewhere in FS having to live with the human condition of having been wrong?!
That’s some toxic fandom if I’ve ever seen it…

I am sorry but promising a feature and never delivering it is clearly the definition of lying for me.
And Hedge can say whatever he wants… there is no ocean, there is simple facts:

Fatshark that repeats every time the pattern? or us the customers that use the only method that works with Fatshark? aka being annoying as hell by repeating again and again the same demand.
I have never seen such a toxic company that clearly don’t know how to communicate with its base.
I suspect the same guy/woman is at the head of the communication for many years. He must be well protected by the boss (maybe her/his spouse?)… But I may be wrong and they could have no communication department, considering the lack of communication they deliver. But if they have one… they should replace him/her and start communicating about their games.

I need true solo. no bots either. 1 character, with 3 sevo skulls that revive you once each time you are down. the higher the difficulty, you get -1 servo. or could be all 3, its not a big deal.
But this is how you should do solo, not these dumb bots that are sometimes not even helpful and have zero ability use.
If you are not going to give me customizable bots, then dont waste my time. and just give me servo skulls that res.
This is a post of all time to be sure.
It also completely neglects the fact that accountability builds trust in order to make an edgy (dare I say epistemological) quip about ‘’‘truth’‘’.
And so, there is a lack of trust.
Each time someone posts about wanting true solo, the bots replaced by servitors or the bots replaced by servo skulls the chances of getting solo mode at all decrease by at least 10%
By now the percentage is so high they will be obligated to remove solo mode from the previous fantasy titles
