Advice for psykers that thanks to battle meditation you can often cast charged up purgation staff while at 100% into a horde without overloading afterwards. So long as the iconic procs and reduces peril by 10% it will also prevent overload when the cast is over. I do also recommend always having the ability ready as a backup just in case.
