Psykers can still blow up with Warp Unbound

By allocating Warp Unbound, you are supposed to be able to cast safely for 10 seconds even at max peril. But there is a bug where after reaching max peril and right before the WU 10 sec timer starts if you just happen to cast a spell during those few frames you will still blow up.
This has been around for a long time. Please fix it.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Allocate Scrier’s Gaze and Warp Unbound on Psyker.
  2. Use Scarier’s Gaze
  3. Cast spells, preferably Assail, especially as peril reaches max
  4. Keep doing above for a number of times
  5. One of those times you will cast Assail during one of the bugged frames after peril reaches max but before Warp Unbound 10 sec timer kicks in
  6. Blow up

Okay, another community memeber managed to shed more light on this thing.

Unfortunately this has been in the game for over 5 months and is still not addressed. Essentially what happens is that when scriers gaze hits 100% peril, server has to send the client the “warp unbound buff” which registers that you can keep using peril-generating abilities without blowing up. This is why you notice the bug happening more on a higher ping server.

Fatshark, one way to quickly fix this is to always have the warp unbound buff active when scriers gaze is activated, then begin the countdown timer for the buff once the server registers that the client hit 100% peril.
