By allocating Warp Unbound, you are supposed to be able to cast safely for 10 seconds even at max peril. But there is a bug where after reaching max peril and right before the WU 10 sec timer starts if you just happen to cast a spell during those few frames you will still blow up.
This has been around for a long time. Please fix it.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
- Allocate Scrier’s Gaze and Warp Unbound on Psyker.
- Use Scarier’s Gaze
- Cast spells, preferably Assail, especially as peril reaches max
- Keep doing above for a number of times
- One of those times you will cast Assail during one of the bugged frames after peril reaches max but before Warp Unbound 10 sec timer kicks in
- Blow up
