Psycher Scrier's Gaze Warp Unbound bug

I am running a scrier’s gaze with the perk warp unbound and my psycher will occasionally explode when I go above 100% peril during the lingering effects of scrier’s gaze.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

unknown. It happens very rarely. Maybe around 1/10 missions. It seems to happen while I am using assail I am also running empowered psionics, so maybe it is some issue with how that interacts with scrier’s gaze and warp unbound.

This has happened to me too and I initially thought it was a bug but am now somewhat convinced it’s those rare moments where we time a peril-based attack -slightly- before/at scriers hitting 100% by the game engine. What I have started doing is when I hit 95% peril or more, I either wait until I see it hit 100% or I’ll charge a peril attack to push it to 100% and then cast. Since doing this, I’ve not exploded. Might at least be a workaround if it is indeed a bug.

In your very last clip, it appears like you cast one more assail shard to go from 7 in stock down to 6 slightly after it displays 100%. It’s possible that your input for this was when the game engine hadn’t yet switched into scriers lingering (maybe 99% or exactly 100% peril stil, sometime befeore lingering kicked in).

It’s annoying for sure, but the workaround I mentioned above has never failed. Could be something to try in the meantime.
