Unlike all the other abilities I have tested I cannot cast the shield skill to prevent my psyker from exploding due to peril overload. I have tested this many times, it has happened to me at least 4 times of which 3 in a row.
Why would it prevent you from exploding? Scriers gaze is set to stop at 100% so it has the weird interaction of preventing an explosion if you cast it and Psykinectic Wrath is supposed to vent peril but the shield has never had that interaction.
Only Venting Shriek is able to prevent exploding.
Oh all right! I didn’t know that. I took it as a given that it would work like venting shriek since it’s a cast, thought it was a bug.
