I think it gives +5% for every 20 peril and reaches +20% dmg at 80 peril and above.
When I headstrike a crusher at 0 peril I do 1138 dmg, and 1365dmg at 100 peril (without the Warp Rider talent). That is in fact +20% dmg.
Then the blessing description is wrong here, on other weapons it says up to +20% not up to +5% scaling with peril, that is a bug.
i agree with op here, “up to 5% strength scaling with peril” means you can get anywhere from an undefined amount (so 0%) to 5% strength, scaling with your peril. but it actually can get you up to 20%
so i would still categorize this as a bug, just not the one that was reported in the op. it’s just that the tooltip describes the blessing wrong
in order to make sense it would have to say
“up to 20% strength, scaling with peril”
or
“gain 5% strength per stack, scaling with peril, up to 4 stacks”
at the very minimum. preferably it’d go into detail but eh
current one flat out lies.
but i don’t know if starting to fix them is worth it… kuli made a nice written guide and fatshark seems incapable of phrasing blessings/talents in normal, clear english, whoever they have in charge of them either doesn’t get them explained to him properly or doesn’t speak english well.
I agree the tooltip is misleading and should be changed. Mechanically the blessing still works the same, so I don’t know why they even changed the description in the first place, I am pretty certain it used to say up to 20%.
