Crash - During Play
I crash constantly on PS5. On the operative screen, on the mourning star, loading into missions, in the middle of mission, extracting etc. I’ve tried rebuilding database, deleting cache, reinstalling game… nothing works. I have over 40 error messages with numerous crashes of my entire PS5 that requires hard reboot. Error code CE-108264-1. Please help

@Want2Play sorry to hear this. Just to check, have you tried deleting your local save data? (your progress is stored in the backend, so not to worry) just in case this has become corrupted.
Thank you for the advice appreciate it. I haven’t tried that yet. I deleted the save file when I got home from work and I did manage to get a few games in completely uninterrupted which was awesome. Played around three games total. However on the 4th, I started crashing again. Managed to load back in and finish the game. Tried playing a 5th mission and it did not go well. Crashed about three minutes in and then proceeded to back to back crash in the span of about 10 minutes. The final crash completely froze my system and had to hard reboot. Deleting the save file did seem to help but only temporarily.
Thanks for the update! It would seem that your local save data had become corrupted, and that it possibily corrupted again since you deleted it.
Please try deleting your save data again, but also reinstalling Darktide, so that you’re then playing with both a fresh installation and fresh save data.
Also, I appreciate you tried rebuilding your PS5 database already, but for good measure I would do this a further time.
I don’t want to jinx it but managed to play all night. Fingers crossed that was it. Deleted saves on system and cloud, deleted game, deleted cache again for good measure, rebuilt database, reinstalled. 5 games in and so far so good. Thank you so much!!
Glad to hear that! Hopefully nuking everything as you did and having a completely fresh slate has done the trick!
