Issue Description:
When queing as either Psycher or Zealot it repeatedly puts me in multi-psycher or multi-zealot queues with rarely a Psycher in the Zealot group and rarely a Zealot in the Psycher group.
Steps to Reproduce:
I did this for 10 straight times in a row.
- Pick either Zealot or Psycher
- Queue up in heresy Quickplay
- See group composition
- Leave mission and change character to the other (Psycher or Zealot)
- Queue up and Join another mission.
I repeated this step 10 times. And have done it 5 or more times on other days with the same results. Always multi-Psycher parties with no Zealots when playing Psycher, No Psychers in multi-Zealot parties when playing Zealot. Always ending up in unbalanced mostly single class parties with one or the other.
I have been tracking this throughout my 500 hours of gameplay.
Platform:
Steam

This has also happened to me for Psykers (never did a Vet build). I thought it was strange. Play co-op with a friend in PUGs, whenever I run a Psyker (friend normally runs Zealot or Vet) we end up in multi-Psyker groups (several 3-psyker groups too). When I run Vet or Ogryn (friend on Zealot), we sometimes end up with multi-Zealot groups, but there’s a higher chance of getting a fully varied team.
Odd, thought it was just more people testing out Psyker
Naw its like clockwork everytime I switch to Psycher. Its almost without fail.
The rare parties on psycher are single psycher balanced parties.
And multi-spycher most often wipe. Psychers don’t handle getting overwhelmed very well. Its not so bad at lower difficulties, but on higher difficulties you’re looking at things like 2 Bulworks, a couple of Ragers or Maulers thrown in, plus Horde Mobs and a Special or two all coming at once.
At least in a multi-zealot or multi-vet party they tend to succeed a lot. Zealot party generally Flamers the small stuff and uses an enormous array of melee weapons and Bolter fire to wipe out everything else. Vets are pretty squishy too but once they get their power swords going they even turn around those situations, especially if they have a Plasma Gun or Bolter among them.
Thank you for your report! There’s a very high likelyhood that this is just coincidence, but just in case it isn’t I’m gonna raise it up and ask devs to look into this.
