Possible Golden Toughness nerf approach

That’s supposed to be an answer to isolated issue of Golden Toughness being so widespread and spammable in the game that FS now have to balance all difficulties around it, making life of builds / group which don’t use it miserable.

  1. Make both Chorus and VoC to have 2 charges replenishing on its current CD
  2. Both keep their CC potential unchanged
  3. A single cast now doesn’t give you golden toughness
  4. After the cast you get a short-living stack (few seconds window) and if you cast your ability the second time before it expires you get golden toughness triggered (but no CC effect) - which works exactly the same as it is now
  5. Tune down all difficulties a shade to reflect this change

So this change effectively increases CD for golden toughness effect alone two times, and usage of Chorus and VoC abilities now implies much more tactical depth as you need to decide whether you use it for instant gains (CC) now, or save it for later to be able to also get golden toughness when needed.

To keep differences between shout and chorus, have shout still give gold toughness but not continuously regenerate it (normal toughness may or may not continue to regen) and chorus keeps continuously regenerating gold toughness while it’s being channelled.

There are only two changes golden toughness needs to be not op:

  1. Remove the poxburster/one-shot protection it has. Currently if you have at least one point of golden toughness you cannot be one-shot by overheads and poxbursters will deal minimal HP/corruption damage to you. It needs to act like regular toughness.
  2. It should only be replenishable by other sources of golden toughness, not through toughness replenishment via kills/talents/blessings.
