Poor performance/random fps tanking

[specs are Ryzen 7 5800XT, RTX 2060, 32gb DDR4-3200]
performance is and has been noticeably worse since this latest update, along with random performance tanks that seem to be unaffected by hardware and graphics settings.

Before the update i was running settings on med + upscaling to 2k and getting ~60-70fps, after the update i had to put settings to low to get ~60fps, but randomly while playing the game performance will tank to max ~40fps to lows of 10-20fps, my hardware is definitely capable (and used to have no issues) and its usage and temps show that it was definitely an ingame issue, but i have no clue what the issue is, especially since i had played this map with no issues in the same session earlier.

  1. be playing the game
  2. performance massively tanks for no clear reason
  3. struggle at low fps gaming
