Please check if opening salvo TALENT on veteran is appropriately applying to double barrel

Opening salvo reads that it gives +10% cric chance for first 20% of ammo after a reload.

Veteran base crit chance: 10%
Double Barrel: 5%
Opening Salvo: 10%

With opening salvo talent on vet, I should be reaching 25%, however, it only appears to reach 20%.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

Play Veteran
Choose Opening Salvo TALENT on his tree
Use Double Barrel Shotgun
Observe crit chance
fire
observe crit chance
reload
observe crit chance

I have not tried disabling mods because it is difficult to measure crit chance effectively without mods.

Sometimes it goes from 10% to 20%. I am not sure precisely what is going on here.

The combat shotgun also starts at 20%, then jumps to 25% after the first shot fired, making me think this may be a mod issue, but I am uncertain.

Weapon crit chance is applied the moment the shot is fired, for db specifically you wouldn’t be able to see 25% displayed because on the first shot opening salvo would drop from the count.

You can see this with other weapons, like recon where it’ll go up 2% I think as you fire, but go away when youre not. This isnt really an issue, just a quirk of how crit chance is applied and thus how the mod displays it
