Players who rejoin after DC should not be alive if they were dead when the the DC happened

Considering that my intention is to solely reward people for trying hard and getting better, while you condone exploits to the core gameplay loop, you can absolutely bet that I have the moral high ground here.

Oh, I totally agree with you now. Screw everybody that’s having connection issues with the game, because all that matters is your perceived notion of people purposely disconnecting in all of your games. Your superior moral authority has changed my perspective, and I appreciate your time and effort here.

As you should considering there was only effort involved on my end going by the way you argued.

I am humbled by your grand intellect, and I shall now acquiesce your overbearing mindfulness.

The only thing I am humbled by is your insistence on having the last word in a thread you did not start, while only giving bad takes, but at least you’ve finally seen the light. Good on you.

Only those who have started topic threads are allowed the final say in said thread, so sayeth the great one, seer of all things, knower of pings. I shall spread the word.

It is fun trying to explain things to people who do not know how to computer, isn’t it?

@Sarumane and @Rainman you 2 just need to kiss already

I mean, at least when it comes to that there’s something solid to work from. Making moral arguments when there are technical issues at play that circumvent a person’s choice, moral or not, is a whole other bag of worms.

I cannot bow down far enough from my moral high ground unfortunately…

Is this really that much of an issue?
I get input lag all the time on peak times. I have drifted off ledges, been runover by hordes, shot to death by gunners, drifted into DH, Sniped and every other scenario. Sometimes it goes way south. You would rather have to rescue someone (convenient there is a penance for that) than just let another person (who also purchased the game and wants to enjoy it) just come back and play?
That is not a moral stance. That is just mean. If this is that big a deal, you might need to unplug and take a breather.

Also, the coding for what you are talking about is not easier than simply focusing on the stability issues.

I’m happy to announce that Rainman wins the gold medal, good job Rainman keep it up :trophy:

Look, I get that the game has performance issues, but the main reward for playing these games is getting better and seeing that reflected in your own performance. This existing cheapens the very core experience and what makes Tide games fun.
The sentiment of “just let people play” and thereby invalidating the above is not something i am willing to compromise on. Fatshark is still working on making the game more stable, but people with potatoe machines will keep having these issues. Should we then also just “let them play” and disregard what makes the game fun and rewarding? Why get better when you can just unplug and rejoin? What is earnest effort then even worth in this game?

Imma be very honest wiht you now. I had very similar glitchy experience to what you are describing when the game just came out, but that is pretty much gone by now. The only thing I experience nowadays is immediate disconnects. I really believe if you still have these extreme experiences your hardware probably doesn’t cut it sorry.

That ruling is against the guidelines. Management will catch wind of this.

You have a real bad vibe.
It is unfortunate you have to tolerate such heinous conditions. Do we need to send a support team over, or will you live?
